Tucson Gem Show Story

I have had the honor of getting to know Dan Caudle.  Mr. Caudle has been verified and documented in numerous publications, as being an original founder of the largest gem and mineral show in the world:  The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.  Mr. Caudle, now in his early 90’s, had a career as an electrician which landed him at the Clifton / Morenci Arizona copper mines. He was then compelled to open several lapidary stores in the area.  Buying and selling Morenci turquoise was one of Mr. Caudle’s specialties. Back in the 1950’s, Mr. Caudle personally explored and gathered minerals from many abandoned mines throughout Arizona, Nevada, and the Southwest. He also owned a home in the ghost town of Mowry, near Patagonia, Arizona.   Below is both his personal type-written account of how the Tucson Gem Show was born, as well as my exclusive video:
